There’s been a lot of buzz about Steve Jobs and Apple making some big music news soon. In today’s Wall Street Journal they confirm that, among other things, Apple will announce a new online music site Monday, April 28th.

(An interesting side note, in the article they note how Jobs insisted and eventually secured the rights to The Eagles entire catalog of music.)

If they’ll also announce the availability of Vivendi’s entire music catalog is yet to be seen. Also to be determined is the pricing scheme as well as how those with Ipod might benefit. There is also a rumor that a new version of the Ipod will be introduced as well. Here is a piece of the article from their website Wall Street Journal
