Overnet Hits 1 Million users

OverNet has hit 1 million users. This is odd as eMule is an extremely popular client which would appear to have overtaken eDonkey2000 as the client of choice for the eDonkey network. So what is going on here? Obviously the inclusion of the OverNet protocol alongside the normal eDonkey protocol within the same client must have something to do with it. One can only wonder when and if eMule chooses to build in it’s own OverNet variant.
