Allpeers, a new P2P-focused company, has published the first part of a whitepaper series entitled Towards a Peer-to-Peer Business Model. The whitepaper argues that both sides of the P2P debate (the “information should be free” advocates and the recording industry) are wrong. The paper calls for a new model for P2P file sharing that takes into account the advances of the digital age while still providing adequate compensation to content creators.
