Ares is a peer-to-peer program to search and download files of any type.
Ares features multiple source downloads, auto-search and resume to complete downloads, easy to use filelist manager with intuitive author/genre sorting, rich searches and results, adultfiler and virus protection, built-in audio/video player with playlist and web-browser

Changes:

  • All new chat commands have been added. Users can reply in any color that is available in pm or public chat.
    The chat commands will be posted on FilePortal Forums when the site switches servers.

    Ever wanted to send files directly to users withouth having them wait in queue!?
    Well now you CAN!
    When you personal chat with someone, you can send them files on your computer Directly to them. (like mirc and trillian)

    Ever wanted to send WHOLE FOLDERS to users on ares?
    Well now you can!
    All you have to do is drag and drop a folder from your computer onto the pm box and the other user will automatically receive all the files from the folder one by one!!

  • You now have the ability to disable Personal chats in ares. (option)
