Ok, I don’t want to rush into this, so I need feedback from you and anyone interested. We want to register this on sourceforge:
License: LGPL, GPL or any other license?, I personally want this to be LGPL in order to get support from future commercial companies that would want to integrate G2 technologies into their products.
Descriptive Name: Is “G2Wire” descriptive enough?, do you think it reflects the purpose of the project?
Project Description: My proposed description: “This is an open-source, platform-independent Gnutella2 core component for building P2P applications on the Java platform”
Project unix name: “ShareAVA” (share + java)
I want future G2 developers to participate in this project, I think there’s an essential NEED for common ground for development of applications using proposed-standards like G2.
