With the surge of recent arguing, trolling, mudslinging, and general chaos surrounding Gnutella (especially Shareaza with G2), I thought I would look further into the issue and see if I couldn’t understand more of the bigger picture.
After the Slyck interviews and after reading a lot of forum posts, I came to the conclusion that there needs to be a guide to all of this. To any non-hardcore Gnutella or p2p users these issues don’t make much sense, although someone might be interested. I have subsequently composed a guide portraying all of the many ‘personalities’ individuals use while debating, arguing, and generally ranting about the recent Gnutella and Shareaza issues.
