In view of recent events regarding Verizon and the RIAA, privacy
concerns have become an issue to many in the P2P world,
especially those who employ the FastTrack network. The KaZaA Lite
team has released a registry patch that prevents other people
from listing your available files. Of course, this could lead to
the interpretation that you’re a leech; but for many, privacy is
more important than appearances.

also available, in the event that you would ever want to turn the
privacy option off. Note that the patches only work for KaZaA Lite
2.1.0 [K++ Edition].
