Well, it finally happened. News.com is reporting on the lawsuit, and goes in-depth on the details of the FastTrack organization. It also points out potential problems with the suit, not the least of which is that FastTrack is headquartered in Amsterdam. They also point out that “The companies involved have said that even if they disappear, the network of file swapping can survive as people continue to distribute the software unofficially.” Any way you slice it, this is bad news.
