Bottler is an application that creates an interface to IRC offer bots.
If you know where to look, there are hundreds of bots offering hundreds of
files. The problem is that finding those files involves hanging out in IRC
channels and watching reams of text stream pass. Bottler does all the watching
for you by querying bots in IRC channels and then listening in those channels
for when new bots arrive. Bottler will present the list of files currently being
offered and will let you download them using inbuilt DCC transfer technology.
The latest version of Bottler now lets you queue files, both on the bots and
locally, so that you can leave Bottler running overnight and wake up to a full
hard disk. You’ll also see from the screenshot above that Bottler presents packs
in a user friendly way, displaying blue for bots with free slots and green for
those without.
Bottler does not harm IRC offer bots, channel operators, or IRC servers. In
fact, Bottler doesn’t harm anything and it doesn’t use up any more bandwidth
than a regular IRC connection.
Bottler is fully functional but we continue to optimize and add features. If you

After it is installed the server file is a bit flaky, connects to some dumb
servers with no good channels.
I edited it and found some good
channels on other networks, so if you want to use my updates server file get
this .ini file here
and save it into the bottler directory.
