The Shareaza 1.7 beta has now passed a milestone to from “A” to “B”. In this release are more added features, bug fixes, and other changes.

Browse Host now “Browse User”
New to Shareaza is the ability to create and manage your own profiles. You can add your shareaza username, real name, location, bio and more.
Even add your own custom Avatar (128×128 PNG). Then when people browse you, they can view your profile and your library within an organized clean interface. “Browse User” uses compression, and multi-layered PNG imagery.

English Language File Compiled
The “English” Language File has been compiled and is now avaliable within Shareaza for translation.
(NOTE: Translations must be redone from scratch, as much dialoge has been changed in this release. Language file Avaliable in “Languagesdefault-en.xml” within the Shareaza directory)

Search Performance Improved
The Search has been improved to return a more accurate and wider range of files available in the network. Which will result in more accuracy and more results.

New Search Conditionals
You can now use search query constraints such as putting queries in quotations (”Shareaza”) to find results regarding that exact keyword match.

Systray Icon Context menu Update
Right clicking the Shareaza icon in your system tray (Windows) now has Media Player controls added. In addition, “Download URL”, “New Search” and more have been added for user convienence.

Plug-in Interface
“Plug-ins” have made their way to the “Shareaza Options” area. Now avaliable is a “Shareaza Image Viewer” plug-in where you can view your images within the Shareaza Media area.

Various Library Improvements
New “Applications” virtual directory now in the Shareaza Library.
(NOTE: To view it, you must delete all folders in your “Organiser” section of your library. Then restart Shareaza)

Better Performance
Various CPU usage improvements.
