Spywareblaster

While Ad-Aware and similar programs allow you to scan and clean spyware, I came across a program recently that prevents it from ever being installed.

The program, SpywareBlaster, is a small download and has a built in updater so you can get the latest definitions of programs it can protect you against. Even better, it doesn’t need to run in the background to protect your computer from the spyware – it sets a “kill bit” so that it cannot be installed or run.
