Shareaza 1.7.0.9 Beta

The old Shareaza betas all expire at the start of the 19th, GMT. That’s very soon.

The beta testing has been very useful, however there are still more
improvements which can be made, so I am extending the beta testing
period. To continue, you need to download a new beta (1.7.0.9).

The new beta contains many important improvements, bug fixes and even new features. One of these new features makes it incompatible with older betas.. This means that

UNTIL EVERYONE UPGRADES, SEARCH PERFORMANCE WILL BE AFFECTED

I apologise for the inconvenience, but afterall this is a beta and we are trying to develop something new.

Some changes worth of note:

- More search reliability (once everyone upgrades)

- See upload queue status in search result tooltips

- Search and find partial sources in search windows (identified with a new icon+tip)

- New gnutella user profile section in options & tools menu (still being worked on)

- See user names on neighbour connections (soon on other connections)

- Better seeking performance in media player (and speed reset – home/end key)

- Many bugs fixed, crashes and otherwise

- Including some weird download busy state bugs

- Other stuff I can’t remember but might add here later.

ONCE AGAIN, IF YOU WANT TO CONTINUE BETA TESTING, THE UPGRADE IS
