Get more play, your way with Windows Media® Player 9 Series Release Candidate. Get fast and flexible playback with excellent audio and video quality for Windows and the Web. It now includes HighMAT CD Burning, a new proposed consumer electronics media standard.

Windows Media Player 9 Series is in the final stages of the beta program. If you have installed an earlier version of the beta, it’s highly recommend you download the release candidate.

After installation, the build number is 9.00.00.2926, newer than the pirated/leaked Build 2903 and includes more fixes.

If you are using Windows XP, remember to turn on System Restore so you can uninstall it if you want to. For other platforms, you can just do an Add/Remove.

Download is from here.

You may hate Microsoft, but this is looks to be a really good media player/library. The video codec is one of the best ever. Share on!
