LimeWire new 2.7.3 version has been released.
This is a major update for one of the best, leading Gnutella clients (together with Gnucleus and Shareaza)
Version 2.7.3 gives up on A LOT of crapware installed together with previous versions of the software.
Even Cydoor seems to be gone.
other interesting features for this release are the following:
-Remote queueing: if an uploader is too busy to handle a download request, it will queue you. The uploader then serves downloads in a first-come, first-serve basis. This feature is compatible with the queueing schemes used by other vendors.
-Resume from library: you can resume incomplete files in the library with a single button press.
-Safer resumes: LimeWire keeps track of the hashes for all incomplete files. This reduces the chance of a corruption when resuming.
Told to be gone, and always fighting against the attacks of the RIAA and against the harmful network’s client such as Morpheus and BearShare, the Gnutella Network is now facing a slow revamp, due to the costant effort of its good developers and users
networks like Gnutella and Freenet are the future, keep that in mind
