RIAA-backed webcast bill ‘a disaster for the US’

A very interesting story on The Reg about the RIAAs plans to collect multiple royalties for web casting, and also the fact that with regards to the current action they are taking against webcasters, a fantastic 1,800 labels and artists out of 1,800 asked, did not support the RIAA over the current action they are taking.
