After months of work, Freenet 0.5pre2 is released! This is the first stable version in a long time.

This version should solve old problems with handling large files and offer better performance. As always, many bugs have been fixed.

Freenet is a network destined to offer perfect annonymity. In Freenet, it is almost impossible to determine who accessed or offered specific content.

You can get Freenet 0.5pre2 at the Freenet Project website.

A linux version is also available.
