While any filesharing enthusiast should already be well educated on the subject of spyware, the Bush Administration’s “National Strategy to Secure Cyberspace”, a bloated 65 page report on computer security dangers, completely neglects to consider the possible security risks of installing malicious spyware, perhaps like a hacked version of Altnet that could hijack millions of computers.
(Maybe these overpaid stuffed shirts in the Government need to get back in touch with the common people and start reading Zeropaid!)
This TIME Magazine article attempts to remedy this deficiency by presenting a short summary on spyware; how to identify it, how to avoid it, and how to get rid of it. Unfortunately, no mention of anti-spyware Kazaa Lite, Diet K, or Clean Clients.
