Connecting, storing, and downloading new servers to connect to is easy with the server window. Browse the server listings on the FileShare network, add a favorite server, or revisit servers you’ve visited in the past.
If your talking to an individual and another messages you, instead of annoying you and popping up dozens of message windows in your face, FileShare neatly organizes them into one consolidated window. Now, you can talk to one user, while others are displayed on the bottom taskbar in that window. User Actions include connecting to an individual, ignoring the user, or simply clearing the screen.
Once connected to another user, downloading files couldn’t be easier. With optional auto-resume, and extensive query system, and detailed information on every transfer, this makes FileShare quick and easy to search for and download only files your interested in.
FileShare has a rich interface, many features, and best of all, FileShare is completely free. Our only goal for this public application is to allow the file sharing community to grow.
Version 1.0 will be released very soon.
Bug Fixes in this Version:
– Fixes many other misc. bugs and connection problems.
– Listen port is now changed to port 8500 (TCP).
– Search port is now changed to port 8500 (UDP).
– Fixed the crashing bug while disconnecting.
– Random ‘Error!’ message bug fixed.
