It appears that some of the most common hostcatchers have disappeared. This was pretty problematic for Phex users as these hosts were hardcoded into Phex as default connection points. So we put up this new release quickly to make Phex instantly usable again with a whole new set of default hosts. But there is more to it: the search monitor can now be switched off.
