Diet Kazaa v2.0 beta2, will have the new feature of being able to hop supernodes. This will definetely be an awesome feature. It is possible to hop supernodes without using Diet Kazaa, however, the process is lengthy and may take a few minutes. With the new version in DK 2.0 beta2, the process of changing supernodes takes only 2 seconds.
Hopping supernodes allows to find rare files, and search for faster users.
A direct statement by Chip, the creator of DK:
“i have already added some cool feature to DietK 2.0 beta 2 which will resolve the SuperNode IP and give you his/her Kazaa ID as well, and if you would like, allows you to jump to a new SuperNode easily. So, at the touch of a button you can detect which SuperNode you are on, and if you want, another button to jump nodes..
oh, and it takes about 2 seconds, and doesnt do the things mentioned above by micro, its a little bit simpler and really fast..”
Hope it works, and I’ll try to interview the beta users to see if they like it.
