The guys over at napjunk.net just published a story in their forums about where people might go after fast track dies, it’s pretty interesting…
story can be found here
here’s a clip from it..
“…Most of us have used Kazaa, Morpheus, or Grokster. Most of us are aware of how vast their network is, how easy it is to find the newest and hottest tracks, movies, and software on it, and overall, how successful FastTrack is.
However, recent news has been beyond tragic. In case you haven’t been keeping up-to-date news-wise, the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) and the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) have launched a huge lawsuit against FastTrack, claiming that the network is a haven for mass copyright infringement and that it must either begin censoring and blocking specified content, or be shut down.
Obviously, this is a very big deal, and a real heartbreak for P2P fans. But what the majority doesn’t yet understand is that as of right now, FastTrack is the backbone of all file sharing, a backbone which will be excruciatingly difficult to replace…”
