I found this new program in Cnet. It was just released on Sept 20th 2002.
It is called KazaaHttp. Information can be found here
-KazaaHttp allows you to enjoy Kazaa peer-to-peer software using a standard http proxy. This enables thousands of users not having a Socks5 server available to enjoy Kazaa 1.7.x.
- KazaaHttp uses any http proxy (like the one you use for navigating!) to let Kazaa reach the Internet!
- No network knowledge required for using KazaaHttp. The software configures itself, and configures Kazaa as well in order to work together.
- Low cost. You can try KazaaHttp for 20 days, and buy it online for $25 (us dollars). If you enjoy programming, and wonder how this is done, you can buy the source code as well.
- Additional information: KazaaHttp gives you additional information to you Kazaa session. Total bytes received, total bytes sent and current throughput.
- This product is not compatible with Microsoft ISA Server 2000 (you can configure ISA Server to work with KazaaHttp, but it is toooo complicated and it will not work on most default Microsoft ISA Server Configurations).
