China clamps down on net use (again)

After recently banning it’s citizens from using Google, The Ruling Party in China has now banned AltaVista searches in it’s scheme to maintain the Party’s rule and discourage dissention among it’s people.

Alta Vista is one of many barred by the ruling party : Google.com, USCourts.gov, Playboy.com, Sex.com, MIT.edu, NPR.org, CNN and the BBC’s Voice of America, are all deemed “unsuitable”
