Blubster 2.0 ever to be released?

There have been a lot of rumors in the p2p corridor converning Blubster and its next release.

Initially Pablo, the spanish developer, announced the final 2.0 version for the early summer, and couple of weeks later he confirmed with an interview @Slyck.com that the final was indeed about to be released “Matter of days, not weeks” he said, while in a kind-of-cryptic message on his site announcing an ‘unofficial’ new version of the client.

Weeks have passed, in the mean time Blubster joined in with a popular AntiVirus company, but still Blubster doesn’t see the light of the day of the file-sharing world.
On the Blubster.net forums its sort of forbidden to talk about the new release, and lots of people keep telling “Give him time” “Be cool with what you’ve got” and still not a precise date is given.

Suspicions are many, most common that Blubster won’t ever really see the light, maybe ’cause of some RIAA-like menaced lawsuits (no, file-sharing ain’t really legal in Europe), or maybe just because time or money issues.

Seems like ages have passed, and still nobody’s seen but a bunch of betas.
We’ll se for the future, if a future holds something at all for Blubster
