Shareaza Gets Skinned!
Bored with the mainstream look? Shareaza now supports skins, giving you the power to change the look, feel, and the layout, the options and even the language of the entire application! Yes, they really are that cool!
Using skins is easy! Just choose the Skin Shareaza option on your Tools menu, and select one or more skins to apply. Shareaza comes with a selection of skins, and you can download more from this skin library, or by searching for skins on Gnutella. Just open a new search and choose Skins.

Multi-lingual Support! – Spanish Included!
Tired of P2P clients that promise “si hablo espanol!” only to find that they used a machine translator and nothing makes sense? Shareaza uses professional translations. When we say connect, we mean “connect” not “want be to make connection dog now please”.
Shareaza 1.6 comes with support for English and Spanish built in, and more translation skins are on the way!
Bandwidth Monitor Bar!
Our all NEW and “INNOVATIVE” (heh..) moveable Mini Bandwidth Graph docks in your toolbar and allows you to monitor and adjust your bandwidth settings easily. Green represents your received bandwidth (Downloads), while red represents your transmit bandwidth (Uploads). Dock it to the side of your screen to keep an eye on things while Shareaza is minimised, or add your own quick-commands to its skin friendly toolbar.
Stability! Speed!
No P2P application can do without these. Shareaza 1.6 has been optimised from the ground up to deliver a smooth, hassle free user experience. It has a relatively tiny memory footprint, and uses negligible CPU resources when idle. A bug reported is a bug fixed. We have a commitment to quality!
Improved GUI
We believe the user experience is one of the most important parts of any software, and the Shareaza experience is second to none. Shareaza 1.6 has an improved GUI which makes common tasks easier, and is just too sexy for its own good.
New Search Schemas
You can now search for ROM’s and Shareaza skins. Find your favourite homemade video games in a snap, filtering out all un-needed file types, yielding the most accurate ROM results on any Gnutella client. Find you favourite skins by name, author, description, language, or version using the new search tools.
Improved Magnet Support
Ever wanted to send your friends a file that you have in your library? Now you can! Right click any file within Shareaza, and go to “Copy URL”. Check the box that says “Include myself as a fixed source in this URL”. Copy the magnet: URL and send it to your friend – they’ll be able to download the file from you and other sources on the network.
