Legal Hacks? Only in the US

So we all know about the proposed bill which would allow copyright holders to hack into your computer if they suspect you of holding copyrighted content. News.com puts an interesting spin on this bill by looking at it from an international perspective. Here’s a quote from Aussie rag The Age: “US executives may be unable to enter the country to give evidence in court cases, attend conferences, speak to government, customers or possibly to make movies because afflicted PC owners could seek to have them arrested for unauthorised computer trespass.” This brings up all kinds of legal jurisdictional issues that will make it a certaintly that this bill will never pass.
