A report at OpenP2P.com points to the fact that AudioGalaxy sends a users username and password in plain text over the web. Although this is a blatant security risk, one wonders about the value of an AudioGalaxy password. Anyways, hands down my favorite quote from the article: “Now that Napster has transformed from a technology company into a law firm, many users have started looking around for other companies with technology similar to Napster’s.”
