Another nail in the coffin for spyware, as yet another spyware removal tool is in the works…
“We will be producing special Anti Spy ware software, which will stop Aureate/Radiate, Comet Cursor, WebHancer and all the rest dead in their tracks. We don’t want to reveal too much at this stage, but what we will say is this: Our Anti Spy ware software has a clever trick up its sleeve. What our software will do is fool the spy ware into thinking its made a connection with its server, it will then upload the information to this Imaginary Server, When in actual fact the signals have never left your machine. What our software will do is save the information to a file where it can be viewed by the user and for the first time the general public will be able to see what exactly has been transmitted from your computer. We have found after countless hours of testing that Spy ware has a unique signature about the data it sends out. Our software will monitor your connection for this signature then capture it before it leaves your machine, take it to one side and let it think it has made a connection. The user will then be informed through a dialogue box that Spy ware was indeed trying to send information out. The user will also be made aware of whereabouts of the file on his/her machine so that the user can go and view exactly what was being sent from the PC.”
