Not that Burstein’s going to jail, or facing a hefty $150,000 copyright infringement fine. Movie studios and record labels can’t afford to sue their customers.”
Did anybody else catch all the conflicts stated in just that intro to the full Wired.com article? My favorite is that the entertainment industry calls its customers theives, yet since we’re customers they cannot afford to sue us or lock us up. Does that make any damn sense from a public relations perspective? Ah, no!
