eDoogle allows the user to initiate searches on the entire eDonkey2000 network. The search replies are cached for 30 minutes unless they are refreshed by a later reply. This cache (or database) can be accessed with any web browser and is searchable in the same matter as the network is.
Clicking on Search searches the cache, Update initiates a cache refresh and completion from the network based on the query. Update has the same effect as pressing Submit in the eDonkey2000 Windows client and then pressing Extend Search for all servers.
It gives users the functionality of the notorious eDonkeyBot but at the same time decreases the load on servers due to intelligent caching.
