A Slashdot reader reminds us, “The U.S. House Subcommittee on the Courts, the Internet, and Intellectual property will be holding a hearing on June 5th at 2pm. The hearing is entitled ‘DRM: The Consumer Benefits of Today’s Digital Rights Management Solutions.’ It will have live audio streams and might also be on CSPAN 2 or 3. Attendees include reps from Microsoft, Adobe, Center Span and SunnComm. I just wonder who, in that bunch, is supposedly representing the consumers, not to mention independant ‘content’ creators like musicians and music producers.”
