More & more movie pirates!

According to Viant (research comp. tracking Internet piracy), estimate that around 1/2 million pirated movies are downloaded from various p2p/irc networks. Now according to Vaint this figure is up 20% from last year, claiming the boost in activity is from the summers hottest movies “Spider-Man” and “Star Wars: Episode II–Attack of the Clones”. Anyone who knows ANYTHING about watching and enjoying movies would understand that if you wanted the full effect of either of these two classics, you wouldn’t watch in your broken-in desk chair. I’ve always preached that file sharing is the best method to preview before you buy, and with the latest box-office figures from these two movies how could you argue. Any thoughts?

O yeah, anyone downloaded Eminem’s new CD The Eminem Show? If you have and enjoyed the tunes, will you buy a copy?
