Spartacus is a Java based groupware file sharing software. It is designed for small to medium size networks, such as a circle of friends, or an office. Here is a summary of features:
- ability to transfer any file type
- ability to search file attributes (such as title, author,…) for MP3, MS DOC/RTF and HTML
- ability to control file access
- ability to scan networks for other users
The program doesn’t have any:
- central or other servers
- advertisments or any other hidden commands
- hidden commands that send information to a server
