With the WinMX 3.1 release, Gator2MX utility has been released in its 1.2 version.
Gator2MX is a GPL program used for adding easily opennap servers (napigator ones) to WinMX.
Among new (and old) features are:
- Uses hostnames rather than IP addresses.
- Groups servers by network to avoid multiple log-in problems.
- Attempts to correctly place servers in WinMX list – High
- Capacity vs Low Capacity (No longer relevant in 3.0+).
- Exports directly to WinMX, as well as to file. Free!
- New in v1.2:
- Fully translatable.
- Command line mode for updating WinMX list automatically before running.
- Can delete old servers before updating. Networks can be selected individually for export.
- Supports both old 2.6 wsx format and new 3.0+ format.
