Can “Secure CDs” replace CDs?

Cnet has a report on InterTrust’s secure CD technology. They claim to want to destroy the audio CD as we know it, and replace it with their DRM-enabled “DataPlay” discs that hold up to 11 hours of copyright-protected music. Wheeee!
