OpenAG is the first and currently only Open Source Unix implementation of the Audio Galaxy File Sharing Protocol. OpenAG has FULL procotol complience with the v520L protocol.

Features:

* Ported to over 30 Unix like OSes with the help of the GNU Autotools
* Fully Audiogalaxy File Sharing Protocol v520L compliant
* FAST – written with using POSIX non-blocking I/O multiplexing. (Faster than the proprietary linux client! – command line version)
* Sharing support – up to 10 simultaneous downloads (up to 21 total connections).
* Supports multiple sharing directories, and sub-directory sharing
* Supports Gold accounts
* Supports full 255 character filenames (internationally aware)
* Auto-resuming downloads
* Optional incoming and outgoing bandwidth restrictions.
* Direct web integration, including in-application search field for the Audiogalaxy.com song database.
* Retrieves the latest Audiogalaxy servers via DNS to guarantee future compatibility with server IP changes
* Integration with your default MP3 player
* Simultaneously connects to multiple logon servers to achieve the quickest logon during peak times
* User-friendly Mac X interface
* Multiple localizations, including: German, Swedish, French, Spanish, Italian, Japaneese.
* Written in C++ with the POSIX.1g API set—designed to be VERY portable.
* Written from the ground up, every piece of code was written for this app, designed specifically to function quickly and reliably
* OPEN SOURCE under the GPL
