Broadband regulation: to be, or should it not be?

ZDnet’s Paul Beckner has an interesting commentary, “Ending the broadband rip-off,” about the government’s possible involvement in the broadband industry. No, I’m submitting this news item just because Zeropaid’s arch-enemy Senator Ernest “Fritz” Hollings (D-S.C., chairman of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation) is mentioned in the story. The topic of broadband is an important one to follow for file-sharing junkies, and for obvious reasons if you have ever tried to download a file through your P2P from a 56kps user!
