Display Recorder allows you to record the iPhone display in jailbroken iPhones.
If as they say a picture is worth a thousand words then a video must be worth a million. Display Recorder is a jailbreak tweak (easy how-to guide here) that allows you to record iPhone displays, ending the need for sending friends and family members a picture to show what it is that you’re talking about.
Display Recorder saves high-quality video from both portrait and landscape orientations in H.264, MJPG, or AVI formats.
Additonal features:
- App & web site to manage recordings
- Optionallly records mic audio
- On-device YouTube uploading
- Adjustable framerate & quality settings
- Hardware accelerated video recording
- Activator integration for quick access
- Remote control via web interface
As you’ll notice there’s built-in YouTube integration so you can upload your videos quickly. There’s also a web interface that can be used to transfer your video recordings to your desktop PC when on the same network so you can control your iOS device’s screen remotely for more succinct recordings.
So how does it work? Simply choose a gesture to activate and deactivate the app (choose “shake the device” for the easiest start method). It’s that easy.
Display Recorder costs $4.99, but you can find a free cracked copy by adding http://repo.
Stay tuned.
