FileRogue discontinued

FileRogue members received the following e-mail:

Dear File Rogue Users,

As most of you know, our Japanese Partners, MMO Japan, were unfortunately forced to cease operations as a result of an order by the Japanese courts on April 15th, 2002. As a result of this unfortunate set of circumstances we are unable to continue the File Rogue service. It is our hope that our partners will be able to reconvene their service in the near future, and that File Rogue will once again become a great file sharing community. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your assistance over the past 2 years.

We will be discontinuing the File Rogue service effective May 15th, 2002

We are preparing to launch a new File Transfer service based on some of the technologies we developed for File Rogue. This new service is an “Electronic Courier” for any type of digital information. This new service will be launching commercially within the next couple of weeks. It is our hope that you will give this new service a try and find it as useful as we believe it to be. We will be updating you by email regarding the exact launch date and URL for this new service.

Once again, we would like to thank you for your continued support and valuable feedback and we look forward to offering you more new services in the future!

Best regards,

The File Rogue Team
