Well Blubster 2.0 is still a little while from public release. However here is a brand new screenshot
I know the P2P community is looking forward to this release. However is seems as is Blubster has decided to wait and release a good stable client. Not endless test beta’s, and “almost” final versions. Blubster 2.0 will implement many of the feature that 1.0 lacked. It will have a channel based chat, multi-source downloading, and all the connection problems will be solved. And with all these things taken care of, and the sorry shape MP3 sharing on other P2P’s.
FastTrack is nearing it’s end, like Napster it had it’s day. Once proud Audio Galaxy has closed the final loop hole in it’s blocking system rendering it totally useless. Song Spy is offline. ShareReactor has removed it Music Section. Edonkey in general just isn’t designed to transfers single MP3′s.
Gnutella has shown some improvement however still has major scalability issues. Then there is Blubster. A kind of cousin to Gnutella, but much faster. It’s MP3 only status will insure a huge selection, like Napster and A.G. before it.
It may not be ready quite yet, but the screenshot is promising!
