Much like NIN they believe in rewarding hardcore fans and fighting over commercialization of their music. If I'm not mistaken they also sell the best tickets to their concerts themselves rather than through Ticketmaster this prevents scalpers from taking advantage of their fans. Anyway they are signed under an Independent label Trauma Records which from what I can tell is a subsidiary of Interscope but must have allot of freedom from Interscope.
