PhotoPixar allows you to take your favorite photos of family and friends and create fully customized photo albums to share with family and friends online in just a few simple-to-follow steps.
For many creating photo albums to share with family and friends can be a difficult and time consuming process. What program will you use? Do you know how to use that program? How will you share the album you’ve created with others? PhotoPixar is a free, easy-to-use program that takes all the hassle out of sharing photos.
PhotoPixar lets you create fully customized photo albums in 3 easy steps, including publishing the album online for family and friends to see and enjoy for themselves. With PhotoPixar you can choose a background, special effect, and add music and captions to your work.
PhotoPixar is about as simple to use as it gets, meaning even the most computer challenged can create an online photo album in a matter of minutes, and below I’ll show you how.
Download and install PhotoPixar.
Open PhotoPixar, locate the photos you want to create an album with, and drag and drop them into the bottom panel of the program.
Click “Add Templates” in the left-hand panel, and then select a template from the “Design Templates” panel on the right-hand side of the program window.
Now each of the design templates comes with a standard effect already built-in that may not be to your liking. If you want to change it select “Customize,” choose the background again, and then select “Effects.” There’s about 9 to choose from so you ought find one suitable for every occasion.
Notice that you can also add a caption to each of your images to let people know what they’re looking at or to add a funny quote or quip that relates to that particular moment in time.
If you want to add a soundtrack to your photo album select “Add Music.”
Now select “Publish Album” from the left-hand panel, save it, and then upload it. Once the photo album has finished uploading to the PhotoPixar site it’ll create an “Album URL” and “Embed Code.” If you want a quick way to share the album with family and friends on Facebook select the Facebook icon, otherwise you can just send the Album URL to them via email.
Your photo album will look something like this (link to mine). Notice at the bottom you have additional links to share the album, and there’s even a download link to save a copy as a .swf file you can convert to a more useful format on sites like Zamzar.com.
What programs do you use, if any, for creating customized photo albums? Let me know in the comments section below.
Stay tuned.
