Recently all links to H33t via the google-like master torrent search engine 'Torrentz' are directed to random H33t files rather than what is selected. All links of the same files work fine when directed from Torrentz to any other torrent site so not sure what's up with H33t. Has anybody else experienced this? What's your fix?

H33T is the best torrent site available!!!!! the few numptys that slate this site are FICK there are no viruses and if you hav got a virus you didnt get it from H33T. its a free site with great staff and great uploaders. there is nothing to complain about. to all you numptys that slate this site get a life and stop playing with yourselves, you'll hurt your hand, then how will you type stupid remarks
I've browsed the website quite a bit, but have only downloaded once. So, I'm not sure if my opinion will be much helpful to anyone, but here goes. I like the fact that they have screenshots and a description breakdown within the entire overview of my search result. Appealing icons and colors on front page, and user friendly search menu. The software I had downloaded did pass my sometimes over obsessive fanatical use of spyware and anti-virus programs though.

h33t has changed for the better over the past few years. The only problem I've encountered is I've lost the ability to signin with my old account username and thus lost the ability to audit my old torrent uploads.. No big deal. Overall its a nice site.

H33t is a great site, have yet to contract a virus, firestarters' comments are completely baseless. H33t has a really nice variety of torrents and the majority are really good quality. My only (minor) complaint is lack of posts by people downloading files to inform others about sound/video quality.
The site is nothing special it has the same torrents as the rest they don't have any torrents that would make them stand out but if you belong to a ratio site go here and I bet someone has the external. The AIO torrents are JUNK do your reading thats the best way to get spyware or a virus people complain even about that person MIGEL having infected torrents. The mod Blazer will only say something to kiss the admins ass do a search and you might find 1000 hits that say ( I do what loc says or that is how loc told me) pull your head out of his ass get a grip h33t has the lowest amount of users and is nothing but a dump site for people. Another thing is the rank system LOL what idiot came up with that idea? from what I saw people download from another person on the site change something than upload it again. The pros are great dump site and no ratio the cons to many people trying to act like the are someone important and stay off the forums maybe 15 people really chat and they act like they run the site... Take my advice go to Demon thats where the admin was a member and go most of his ideas back in the day I remember I was there....
The website layout is awful and the site owner (lacadaemon) is rude. As far as I remember some of his moderators were on here ages back messing up other sites ratings by changing their IP address over and over to revote them down and put h33t up to the top. I'm sorry but h33t is simply not the best torrent website around, a 10 year old could design a nicer looking website. Get it a proper designer guys, someone who's actually good with Photoshop and older than 17!

Dunno what firestarter is nattering on about...it sounds like the kind of bashing banned members of so many sites do. I've been using h33t since 10/07 and never even seen a popup or redirect, but then I actually know how to configure a browser so that I don't. Perhaps it's a question of knowledge and competence, eh? I run NOD and Adaware on everything I get from ANYWHERE, before it's opened, then afterward once again. To my recall I've not run across nearly as many issues with h33t D/Ls as with some other sites. Some of which are named in this thread. For my money it's a good site. Yeah, the folks ask for donations ... so do most others whether P2P or not. Despite the folks trashing h33t in here I plan to continue my affiliation with them. But with only twenty five years as a PC tech what would I know?
Problems with h33t? Must be a complete noob if you cannot figure out how to get rid of ads. As for requesting money, you are getting your games/films/apps free aren't you? So why not help the guys that actually get these together in one place to make your life easier. Because, as sure as eggs is eggs, you ain't gonna have what it takes to do an advance search engine string to find them for yourself.
You need to be careful on any file sharing site. Having said that, h33t is at the top of the list of torrent sites and yet h33t is one of a kind. Some of the best uploaders around are native to h33t. If there is something worth downloading it will be listed on h33t. I seldom go anywhere else to download files.
h33t is a great public tracker. I upload there among other sites, and always found its staff to be responsive, helpful, and kind. OP said: "Try Mini or Demon for real torrents and mods that know what they are doing" You got that wrong. Most Moderators on h33t are experienced uploaders. It's the friendliest tracker there is out there. Viruses? Where? Not on h33t.
People what is going on? Trash talking about h33t is ridiculous. It's a great site what I've seen. The people are friendly and helpful, they will re-seed torrents if possible (which is to dream of on other sites). Also, don't talk crap about Piratebay. It's a great site which might be the only site caring about future Europe and its parliament. Luckily we, Sweden, have sent Pirate Party to Luxembourg ;)

H33t is a very good site, especially if you are into comic torrents. I have been using it from day one and had no problems with viruses or fake files. It's friendly and well run - what more do you want?

the best file sharing site never ever. mininova n demon are good but the h33t is the best. because it's fast n have a long list of torrent correctly labeled and the staff is very friendly. about the ads, how to mantain a site who don't request your pay? anyone wonder this?. if this site is free then need to get money to rent servers for example. 5 stars for h33t.com ese_xema.

Spyware, virus, asking for money? I must be using a different H33t cos all of this is news to me. H33t is one of the few sites I visit daily cos I'm guaranteed good, clean torrents and a wide variety at that. I honestly cant see where these comments are coming from. Keep up the good work - Im here to stay.
I think that the overwhelming response from all the H33T fans speaks for itself. Those few who are slating it are talking rubbish. Sure there are other good torrent sites out there, but none of them compare to H33T. What an example of what a great community of people we have there who absolutely love this site.
Holy crap ! I cant believe this string even started. I've used h33t for long enough to tell you...its bloody an essence to the torrent community. h33t is the simply the only site I get all my torrents from. Without a doubt its by far the SAFEST, FRIENDLIEST and Support orientated site I've come across....and I've been using torrents from like 6 years ago.. ALL torrents are checked out. If a torrent is BAD, action is taken very quickly to take care of it by Admin. They keep you informed so it helps. The pop ups are expected...its another revenue thats needed to make h33t survive! duh. I rather deal with pop-ups then download some bullshit torrent that claims to be what it is..then turns out it isnt! and waste my time h33t only asks for donations at your free will. Yet you are still have access to like 95% of the site, and membership is free geez, what else do ya want ?? Please dont be discouraged by others comments until you give it a chance eh!
