KCeasy

KCeasy is a Windows front client for giFT. giFT is a modular daemon that accepts various network plug-ins. Simplistically it is a program that runs in the background and performs certain tasks, in this case, connects to various P2P networks. KCeasy acts as the graphical interface.

KCeasy is a p2p client that runs off of the Ares, Gnutella, and OpenFT networks. It is spyware free and has good download speeds, and great search results. The newest version of KCeasy is 0.16

KCeasy currently supports the following networks:

Gnutella (Shareaza, Gnucleus, LimeWire, Bearshare, XoloX)

Ares (Ares Galaxy, Warez P2P)

OpenFT (A new network developed by the giFT project)

And of course KCeasy is completely spyware free and Open Source.

Note About FastTrack:

Please note that from this version on KCeasy will no longer include the plugin necessary to connect to the FastTrack network. On April 14, I received a Cease and Desist Letter from Sharman Networks demanding the immediate stop of KCeasy distribution. While it is perfectly legal under German law to create an interoperable client for FastTrack network via reverse engineering I feel that inclusion of FastTrack access with KCeasy is not worth a legal battle between Sharman and myself. KCeasy is a valuable file sharing client even without FastTrack connectivity and I will continue to develop it as such.

	So far im impressed it seems good and takes in Ares and Gnutella. I'm quite impressed and its handy as my Ares wont connect although this works fine :P Recommend trying it :).

Elementfire0666 Elementfire0666	Wow this has improved a great deal sense i last used it. It connects to ares network now. However the UI hasn't changed a bit but this p2p is a no bullshit type and it gets the job done.

Elementfire0666 Elementfire0666	Wow i totally forgot about this. I use to use this two years ago. I thought it was decent then. No spyware and i could find most of what i was looking for. Only problem I had was speed wasn't great.

	I'm suprised this client isn't getting the attention it deserves with FilePipe a clone of this program getting more reviews and ratings. KCeasy has a easy to use interface and can actually connect to Ares (unlike FilePipe which just sits there). The only thing better FilePipe has is its nicer skin. Otherwise KCeasy is a great free p2p application.

hasturi Zeropaid Regular	Actually KCeasy is the original and FilePipe is just one on a long list of mediocre clones which also includes Peanuts and Torrent Searcher.

southernpride_56 Justin	I love this prgram easy to use has all programsand so far that i know of no spyware!!!!!! Picks up quickly and Downloads tremendously!!!!! Must Try This Program!!!!!!!!!!
