Actually, it works very well and the interface is stunning, in fact it works much better then Skype. But nobody I know except my neighbor uses Gizmo, so I am forced to use the inferior Skype 99.9% of the time, which sucks. :( Spread the word about Gizmo, it will revolutionize everything that is PC-based VOIP. Don't believe me? Give it try, you'll be as shocked and amazed as I. Once word gets out, Gizmo will be the new monopoly, and since its open source, you can't go wrong because everyone will be able to submit tweaks without moving a mountain or putting together a class action lawsuit. Gizmo rocks! Now, how to get all my friends around the world to Gizmo with me is another story (and problem)...

Skipe is a propertary protocol -i.e. a monopoly. The great thing about GIZMO is that its Open source AND you simply run it along skipe. Gizmo will develop features faster - I have both.

Looks pretty slick! SIP standard vs. Skype proprietary rocks, look for more interop soon! What is the max number of conference call attendees (Skype's 5 user limit is what keeps me from using it)???
