Cabos is Gnutella file sharing program based on LimeWire and Acquisition. It is free software. No spyware. No adware. It is free software, no spyware, no adware. Cabos provides in a simple interface: iTunes integration and multi languages support.

Cabos provides simple sidebar user interface, firewall to firewall transfers, proxy transfers, Universal Plug and Play, iTunes + iPod integration, Creative Commons integration, "What's New?" searches, international searches, and more.

It's a Gnutella file sharing program under the GNU General Public License. It is based on LimeWire's source code. Users of LimeWire will find that It has a similar feel in terms of interface. It lacks the chat and library features found in LimeWire. LimeWire is written in Java programming language, however the GUI of Cabos is written in REALbasic. Cabos is available for Microsoft Windows, Apple Computer's Mac OS X and Mac OS.

Requirements of Cabos include:

• Java 1.3.1 or later
• Mac OS 8.6 – 9.2.2
• RJ 2.2.5 or later

Some of the Cabos features are:

• Completed Dutch localization.
• Now automatically detects & notify personal firewall blocking.
• Fixed download folder menus.
• Fixed removing inactive uploads.
• Fixed connection issues when the computer is idle.
• Allow to share .wmv & .asf files again.
• Reverted core to LimeWire 4.9.28.
• Updated German localization
• Added "Connect" menu for internet connection problem.
• Now automatically resumes waiting downloads per 120 minutes.
• No longer creates non existent directory. Uses default directory instead.
• Fixed some minor bugs.
