I just got a old computer givin 2 me with a 6 gig hard drive. i want to know it there is anyway to delete everthin off the hard drive except windows 98se
not automatically, the easiest way to do that is format the whole thing and do a clean install of the os.

I cant for the life of me see why you would want to.
Even if you did the excalibur of all cleanups, your W98 will still be tainted.
Just scrap it and get on with life.
Consider doing a low level format too.
