need real help

Hi all, i'm in real need of help. I have a 559mb file in mpg format and wish to make it smaller. It doesn't matter what format it will be as long as I can make it smaller. Can anyone tell me what is the best format? And by how much can it be break down?

dunno, but i think you could go to doom9.net. at least thats what k-lite tells me :-)

I'm not sure what you mean. If you are try to split the file into smaller bits you can rejoin later, try this.
You can split it into whatever sizes you choose with this and it's freeware.
