Can anyone recommend anygood sites to help with basic hardware-related questions?
People on my "cool list" in no particular order.
Krell, Phalkon30, Ken17625, Triniti, Kyle06, Potato429, wessman, Winphuk, Woflie, MoonMan, All the mods, CCSDUDE, Lamourlady, Nasrules, Alannah777, vipp, foreverboard, NDGAARONDI, metale, isus, Endersgame21, Reg0232, notbob, Janett999, and uhh you!
ironically, krell.com does dabble in hardware, but its obvious you were joking... the site isn't exactly full of content.
try one of these sites:

Yes he was joking,
Krell ,com deals with high end audio \ video
Actually, I've already done the search thing; I was just hoping to get some recommendations on which ones are most reliable.
And yeah, Krell.com wasn't much help. lol

This is UTC's sister site, dedicated to computers and computer software. Give it a try, they have some knowledgeable people eager to hear from you.
My favorite hardware site is Tom's Hardware.

Sharkey's had the information I needed in its archives so that's where I ended up getting help from . . .
But I've made myself a note to check out the other sites that were mentioned here for future reference.
