9.28MB remaining
I've noticed that all together about 7 of my requests have said 9.28MB and waiting, and I give up.
Why is it that so many requests have stopped at this particular value?
I'm using eMule (eMule plus) v0.24b.
Each of my request has a different file size from smallest being about 25MB to the largest being near 600MB yet they all had the 9.28MB thingy.
Anyone know? Thanks.

The donkey protocol devides files into chunks. When a client has downloaded a full chunk, it checks the chunk to make sure it is correct. Clients only upload chunks to others which pass the test. If your client gets bad data it won't pass on the bad data to others.
Bad data may be due to a noisy phone or cable line, someone with cheap/overclocked/overheating hardware, bugs or hacked clients
Edit: Grammer.

I've had the same thing happen to me numerous times before as well. I have found that this happens when emule locks up or my computer reboots. Basically it was my fault for the lockups and reboots, I was trying to do way too much at once.
Anyways, I let the files sit for a week and they never completed. So I cancelled them and restarted the files. Sure enough, they completed in 3 days.
Since that happened to me, I no longer try to run a million things while Emule is going and I always Pause my downloads before I quit emule. No idea if pausing the downloads help before I exit and reboot, but since I started doing that, I have not had this problem.
Hope that helps you.

I can't see how this has anything to do with the 9.28MB being free - everything else is fine
